Boy battling cancer has wishes granted at the Gardens Mall

A child in South Florida fighting cancer got his wishes at the Gardens Mall.

The Gardens Mall partnered with Children’s Wish Foundation International to make a dream come true.

Stuart’s Jesus Vasquez, 10, has been fighting cancer most of his life and now suffers from high-risk leukemia.

He appeared at the Gardens Mall with his family in style in a black limousine and escorted by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

The Gardens Mall security team escorted Jesus through the mall to the command center where there was an opportunity to handle phone calls.

Stores in the mall planned special experiences and gifts, including a private tour of the space-themed pop-up Out of This World and lunch at Shake Shack.

“Because he really likes police, he wanted to visit the police station in the sheriff’s department,” said Jesus’ brother Orozzo Vasquez, “He wanted to take a tour of the mall and walk around the mall. he wants too, I want to make a wish for him. ‘
