Purcaro is the Chief Operating Officer and Associate Director Finance & Administration at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, NJ. She is responsible for providing financial, administrative and operational leadership for one of the world’s leading centers for theoretical and intellectual research. In addition, Purcaro works with the lead development office in projecting needs and fundraising capabilities in support of the strategic plan, advising and advising members of the board of directors on governance issues, meeting legal and regulatory requirements for governance activities while overseeing ceases to manage the more than 800 acre campus of the institute.

Purcaro received her Bachelor of Science in Professional Accounting from the State University of New York in Plattsburgh and her Master of Public Administration from the State University of New Jersey. She lives in Middlesex, NJ.
