Middleton teen raising money to fight childhood cancer

MIDDLETON (WKOW) – A sophomore from Middleton raises money for childhood cancer research.

15-year-old Divya Goel began raising money for the fund at American Family Children’s Hospital when she was ten.

She normally collects things like coloring books, markers and other things for children undergoing treatment, but the pandemic stopped that. So she sells T-shirts instead.

“Now that I’m older and I understand more things and cancer is something that no one ever wants to get,” Goel said.

The shirts are for sale here until Friday.

$ 15 of each shirt is donated, the rest pays for overhead costs.
