The Importance of Giving Back: How Lightbridge Foundation Embodies its Circle of Care

The early education and childcare franchise gives back through its in-house nonprofit.

RANDOLPH, NJ – Since 1997, Lightbridge Academy has provided early childhood care and educational services to parents and local communities. The brand has been innovators within its industry thanks to its Circle of Care philosophy and forward-looking approaches and use of technology in education, health and safety.

As an embodiment of Lightbridge Academy’s Circle of Care philosophy, the company founded its 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, the Lightbridge Foundation, with a mission to support parents and children on their life journey. His work is central to the core beliefs of all Lightbridge Family members and within the communities they serve.

The Lightbridge Foundation contributes to the culture of care that is ubiquitous in all Lightbridge Academy centers. One of the brand’s newest centers in Randolph, located at the corner of Route 10 and Dover Chester Road, will further that culture and is expected to open this spring.

With more than $ 800,000 donated to children and families in need, the foundation helps in several ways:

$ 500 scholarships for high school students who wish to pursue a college degree. Recipients are encouraged to “prepay” by serving as inspiration and future leaders. Direct grants to help parents meet expenses for a wide variety of challenges, including the treatment of pediatric diseases, necessary therapy, and recovery from natural disasters. Support local community needs and charities such as Hometown Heroes, Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, local food banks, homeless shelters, and many other important causes. Volunteer for special projects in the community.

Randolph Center Director Elizabeth Baumel said: “I am proud to work for a company that gives back to the local community I live in. I cannot wait to serve and support those around us . ”
